377E Stone Bridge (lg)
(approximate size = 1" X 4")
Stone Bridge (sm) 377E is the larger sibling to Stone Bridge (sm) 376C. These bridges can give add a bit of civilization to a scene in a rustic way.
There's something to this type of old engineering that lends itself to a kind of romantic and graceful addition to a landscape as the building
materials were often from local sources. I had a chance to hike around in Acadia National Park in Maine for a week and there were several
stone bridges on the carriage paths there that harmonized beautifully with the scenery. The two bridges can be used separately or together to
represent a near and far crossing.
