The Stampscapes® 101: 12-Step Thumbnail Grid, Nakagawa Lesson
Autumn

Country Chapel-215G was stamped in black. Trees from the right side of the image were stamped to the left of the chapel to fill in the blank area.

Using a Colorbox stylus tool Ranger Industries Sea Shells Sandal was streaked into the scene. I like to drag this color from the outsides of the card to the inside. This is a good foundation color as it's very light in value.

In the same motion Sea Shells Conch Shell was streaked in.

In the same motion Sea Shells Beach Ball Yellow was streaked in.

In the same motion Marvy Ochre #13 was streaked in. At this time, I'm going for a varied sky so I'm being careful not to just color in the entire area.

Ranger's Archival ink Sepia was streaked in.

Marvy Dark Brown #18 was streaked in.

In the same motion Ranger's Sea Brights Bikini Pink was streaked in towards the top of the sky. I wanted to get some variation into the scene using a different hue.

Sea Brights Watermelon Red was added to the sky to increase the intensity --in terms of brightness.

Grass Texture-208D was stamped for ground foliage using a Marvy Dark Brown #18.

Bare Branch Lg.-122F and Leaf Sprig-127A were stamped in black.

Reeds Lg.-068D was stamped in black. Migrating Birds-152D were stamped in a Marvy Dark Brown #18 blotted (I wanted a softer impression to represent distance) and Ducks in Formation-027A was stamped in a straight Dark Brown (stamps darker to represent closer birds).
